Holiday Mantel...

Lo and behold, I got some Christmas decorating done! I conquered my mantel, which can sometimes be a challenge with  its large scale/depth, and I hung my holiday "subway" sign, a gift from Matthew Mead for my holiday photo shoot. You can order one like it (it also comes in red) here on his website. I also picked up some glittery stags to flank it on the wall.

Who knew I'd ever have a deer's head on the wall? Hah!
Happy decorating!
I am off to do more and will be back to share it all soon!

  1. Hi Linda,

It looks really beautiful! I have that same deer head and it's one of my favorite things. Mine is currently painted hot pink but that's about to change. I love the subway sign. As usual, you have done a beautiful job.

  7. Um, this is beautiful! I love the sign behind the mantel like that. I wish I could use my fireplace full mantel possibilities.. It is currently the home of our TV. Boring, right? Have a great holiday!

  8. Linda, it all looks wonderful. I haven't even started. Sigh. I loved the bus roll when I saw it in the magazine (oops, forgot to email you back that it came!) And the deer antlers are awesome. I saw a whole slew of them at a local restaurant painted a gloss white and all lined up. Now I'll have to find some of my own. As always, Linda, amazing!

  31. I love your reindeer and the gorgeous subway sign! Hope you don't mind if I show them on my blog...we're moving this week, so everything holiday is still packed away. Since I can't post about decorations in my own home this year, I highlighted a few I found in others!

  32. I am seriously in love with this color. Seriously. So serious is this affair that I am painting my bathroom this color. It is so cooling, so calming, so 'ahh' in the midst of my "ACK!" Thank you for featuring it in holiday decorating, a time when we could all use some more 'ahhhh.'
