High, Low, you should go!

In  case you haven't heard, I LOVE Homesense/Homegoods. While shopping there last weekend I discovered these beautiful mother of pearl cabinet knobs. At $7 for a package of four, I remarked to my mother that they look like hardware you'd find at Anthropologie. I scooped up every package and replaced my former hardware (crystal knobs which I still love) and am happy to have an easy, inexpensive make-over.

(Beware, poor quality photos ahead)

And what do you know? While perusing Anthro's website last night, I decided to check out their cabinet hardware. What did I find?

Wait for it...

MY knobs...at $12 for ONE knob!!!

A savings of $41/ package of four!

I'm sorry, Anthropologie.
I love you... but I love Homesense more!!!

  2. They looks fabulous! I too love homegoods. Spent the day on the coast today found a few items I fell in love with. Decided to wait as the shops on the coast are expensive. Stopped by TJ Maxx which houses a homegoods and found the exact items for pennies on the dollar!

  23. LOL Linda, what a bargain!

It's been ages since I had time to look at your blog, and I've missed it. We're doing a major house renovation on a house we bought last December. So far they have demolished the old extension, done foundations and begun to build walls, and yesterday evening we drove past to find that the scaffolding is up! (the building work only started September 8)

It's going to be ages before we can move in (prob not till next spring) but if you're curious you can follow my photos on Flickr.

Should really be blogging it, but it's going so fast now they've started work I can't keep up!

I will be going through your blog again when we get to the decorating stage to steal some ideas! ;-)

    Best wishes from Liverpool,

    Maggie
