Ruffles...nothing makes me happier lately (on the home decor front anyway). I have had a style crush on them for some time, and it doesn't appear to be fading. They offer just the right amount of femininity, without having to plaster oneself in flowers. They fall beautifully, whether on person or objet.
What do you prefer? In your home or on yourself?
And another:
Or this?
It's a tough decision, isn't it?

I love ruffles and excited to create some in my home! I like to wear them too. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Victoria
I love the ruffles on the shower curtain but no way would my DH let it in our bathroom LOL
ReplyDeleteRuffles all the way Baby.....They make a Girls heart sing.~Kim
ReplyDeleteI love all these beautiful ruffles. I like my ruffles on my home decor lately more than on me. Maybe it has something to do with the extra weight I'm carrying at the moment, that won't let me pull off ruffles unless they are on a pillow?!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
I love the ruffled pillows and the tablecloth..A modern day Alice would surely love that look. :0)

so pretty I love them on both!
ReplyDeleteOn myself...been wearing ruffled layers of skirts for as long as I can remember. But am having fun adding them to my cottage decorating...my current crush...layers of ruffles on my bed.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this and THANK you for sharing! This just gave me BIG inspiration for a bathroom I have been clueless on!!!
ReplyDeletethat table skirt wins, hands down!
ReplyDeleteI love the pillows! I also love how the colors in your pictures flow from one picture to another.
ReplyDeleteI would love LOVE that bathroom to be all mine (to not have to share with a soul - know what I mean? I'm selfish that way). Really like those tops also - wonder how my big girl figure would look in them. C-U-T-E stuff Linda, thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteThose dresses are amazing!
ReplyDeletegurl, you got that right! i LOVE ruffles on just about anything. i don't have much for me but the house has a few here and there. i am re-decorating the family room in all white, like shabby sheik meets the beach house. needless to say there will be ruffles galore!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the first photo, it's so inspirational. I think I'd rather have the ruffles on the decor than me, unless maybe a handbag...
ReplyDeleteI love both! I think I prefer them in my home - no more like I HAVE to have them in my home. lol I don't have many clothes with ruffles, although I do like them.
ReplyDeleteI think you are either a ruffle person or not ... I'm not ... it's tooo girly for me in my home decor ... though I do like all your examples in clothing.
ReplyDeleteI am totally a ruffle girl! Ahhhh...they are so girly and cute...now, how do I convince the dh to let me have that tablecloth!! :) Hugs, Ingrid
ReplyDeleteSeveral pregnancies ago, I loved wearing them. Now they have been banned from my body. I have too many natural ruffles, I guess. I do, however, love them in home decor. I would especially love to have a ruffled shower curtain!
ReplyDeleteThis old bod doesn't lend itself to ruffles, I'm afraid, though I did watch a tv segment about ruffles that said there is something for everyone. I only have one ruffle in my house, too. This must be the latest recyled thing as I recall former times when there were lots of ruffles about in home decor.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the ruffles on tops this season. I have to be careful though, with my the extra ruffles I have on my own, too many ruffles can make me look fat. but I'm liking what I'm seeing out there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for ruffling our feathers with your ruffle post.
Margo
Oooooohhh............How I ADORE a good ruffle. I don't wear them generally, but I LOVE them in my home!

Love that delicious tablecloth. I posted on ruffles last week and shared some I have added around my home. Love them.
ReplyDeleteI love ruffles too! I'm determined to make our home as "gender neutral" as possible, so I've been racking my brain to figure out how to incorporate ruffles without making my husband cringe. I'm thinking maybe this pin-striped ruffled pillow?
