Forgotten Treasures...

Well, lookie here! While going through my uploaded photos (and trying desperately to organize them) I found this photo I had forgotten I took. Those who have read any of my previous Christmas posts know I am a loyal Seasons of Cannon Falls fan. Their recent run of glittery holiday confection draws me in like a magpie and I am helpless to resist. This is what I found at the after Christmas sales last year, where everything was at least 50% off. Because the handyman and I don't usually exchange gifts, I don't feel too guilty about picking up some Boxing Day sales treats like this. Now I remember packing this loot up to display this year.

Oooh, I can't wait!!

Another angle for your viewing pleasure (notice the mostly subdued shades...):

Isn't it fun when you rediscover what you bought, after having forgotten you did?!

It's kind of like finding five bucks in the pocket of a coat, isn't it?

I don't know about "Seasons of Canyon Falls". It's a brand name, I take it?? And where do you find such lovely treasures? (Or are your keeping that a secret!)

They are lovely ornaments! I buy during Boxing week as well and then forget that I did. It's a great surprise.

I was reading your post about shadow boxes... They sell shadow boxes at the Dollar Store ?
Or did you buy a regualr frame and alter it ?
I'd love to try this with my daughter.

Sandy, I got the Seasons stuff (yes, a brand) at a shop in Saint John, N.B., though I am sure there are some in N.S. (maybe Crisket on the Hearth?), too.

Queen B., yes, the shadow boxes (unpainted) were found at my local Dollar Store. I buy a bunch every year and love to make them as gifts!

I love opening up my Christmas storage boxes to find the clearance items I bought the year before! This stuff is really pretty.

I'm a huge fan of Seasons of Cannon Falls! You really scored with the village set! Love it!

I'm excited because I bought a lot of things after the holidays last year that I tucked away! I'm certain to be surprised by some of it! I can never remember year to year what I bought!! :) :)

I'm always surprised when I un-pack my Christmas decorating box.....Isn't it a thrill to find all of those little after Christmas treats?

This year I won a BIG box of vintage pink balls at Rose Petals and Rust from that sweet little Stefanie....they are DELISH and I can't wait to use them.

Warm blessings,
Spencer

Ooooo...sparkly stuff! I have to check this out! I've never heard of Seasons of Canyon Falls. It has that vintage charm I love that reminds me of stuff from when I was a kid. Love it!

Isn't that one of the best things about decorating a Christmas tree? Unpacking all the pretty, shiny things, some of which you may have forgotten about completely? It ranks right up there with opening b'day gifts!

What a nice selection of things! And, naturally, they'll look fab in your home!

I have begun bringing Christmas stuff down from the attic....

I hope I've stuck something back like that & don't remember it, and then I hope if I did, I can find it! ;O)
