Flippin' Out, continued...

Heading up the stairs, it was more about lipstick and elbow grease than actual renovation. Painting of every surface, new bathroom toilet, sink faucet, lighting and accessorizing freshened up the second floor.

Next, we will move outdoors and address the curb appeal of the home. As soon as we are finished, I'll share that, too!

Seriously - the changes are breathtaking! Where do you live? Can you come over? My favorite shot, though, is the before shot of the small bedroom! That's keeping it real!!! LOVED IT!!

Yes, when we took over the house to renovate it was in a serious state. Clothes, junk everywhere, and hadn't been cleaned in years, probably. Yuck!

This house is in my hometown in Nova Scotia, and will be going on the market as soon as we can get the exterior the way we want it.

The colour in the master bedroom is my perennial favourite: Silver Sage, by Restoration Hardware.

The rest of the colours I will have to get back to you on...

Cheers,
Linda

I just discovered your blog and am grooving on the beautiful pictures. Thank you for producing such wonderful eye candy!

What's the story with this house, if you don't mind my asking? Was it a short sale? Why did the former tenants/owners leave all their stuff behind?

You're clearly doing a wonderful restoration job. I can't imagine you'll have any trouble selling this house once you're finished.

Like I said yesterday, Ash and Eric are looking for a house, so I got online and started looking for them! You got me motivated! I think I found a darling one... but I don't know if their style is the same as mine!

Beautiful! What color did you use in the master bedroom? I have a sort-of faded denim blue and white theme (w/ red accents) in mine. But I do love the color in yours!

Linda, you and your hubby are doing such good work. It's perfectly obvious to me that you are both professionals. Someone is going to be very blessed to live here.
